Playing Career Festival Street (outdoor stage) is an opportunity for musicians / bands who want to show off. Music Rene gets no fee, but the musician briefly at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival for the day they play. Musicians must provide backline, travel and any accommodation. The festival makes the PA plant is and technicians.

Street Festival brings together each day thousands of spectators and the press, second jazz musicians and industry people. Many bands have received much attention – or been placed on the official festival program – after gigs here.
