We encourage anyone who can, to let the car be left at home during this year's festival. Kongsberg Jazz Festival is the country's first certified Eco-Lighthouse jazz festival. We want to limit car use as much as possible and in return we get a nicer town and save the environment during the festival. For the same reason, Tinius Olsen Street will be closed for anything but a new traffic.

News: Free night trains Kongsberg – Drammen at 02.00 Thursday – Saturday during the festival!

In collaboration with the NSB and DnB NOR, we in the year the night train to Drammen after night concerts are done. By show of ticket stock (the small gjenparten from konsertbilletten) may festivalgjengere FREE took – so take either on your billettstammen! (Note the purchase of the ticket in the door you will not ticket, so remember to buy tickets in advance, either on record or in our ticket outlets on Church Square / the Street Festival. Same price!)
