As part of the Kongsberg Jazz Festival's humanitarian program, cooperate with Amnesty International Festival. Amnesty invited each year to highlight during the festival, maintain the appeal and raise awareness about their work in different ways. In 2007 Amnesty was also when the new Secretary General Baber invited to conduct the opening of the festival.
Kongsberg Jazz Festival has great sympathy for Amnesty International's work, and will continue his work with Amnesty International in the years ahead under the motto “Music and people are living better”.
