Fairtrade is an international labeling scheme for fair commodity trade between farmers and plantations in developing countries and importers in North. When you see the Fairtrade label on a product, it means that an independent third party has verified that it paid a fair commodity payments and that they are working for producers working is improving. Every time you buy a product with the Fairtrade mark on, contribute to better living- and working conditions for farmers and plantation workers in South.

Kongsberg Jazz Festival is a Fairtrade-Festival and has worked with the Fairtrade for many years. This means that the coffee you drink on our main stage is the top Tubaloon, freshly ground Fairtrade coffee that you can be sure that the coffee producer has been paid for decent. We of course encourage all our partners to choose Fairtrade products when you can (and it is quite often).

NOVELTY: In addition to the coffee shop where you will get delicious Fairtrade- Coffee fra Löfbergs Little, This year there will also be dining at Church Square.

Funky Fresh Food servers will matte with Fairtrade- ingredients.
The coffee bar and food service will be open all days, when something happens to the main stage.
